The City of Trail is situated on the Columbia River in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada, 9 kilometres north of the Canada-USA border. Known as the “Home of Champions,” Trail BC was established in 1895 when a small smelter operation was constructed to service the mines in Rossland.
