Charles Bailey Theatre
The Charles Bailey Theatre is the main venue for the Performing Arts in Trail. With a seating capacity of 764, other venues are also available depending on the size of the show. Chesterman Beach
Chesterman Beach is the pride of the Tofino area. This 2.4 km (1.5 mi) strip is made of hard packed sand makes it exceptional for walking, surfing and bike riding. While at the beach, wander down at low tide to explore the marine life in the tidal pools of Frank Island.

Clayoquot Sound
Clayoquot (pronounced Klah-kwot) Sound is a lowland coastal temperate rainforest that encompasses 265,000 hectares (654,550 acres) of thickly forested islands, inlets, and valleys. Recently added to the list of United Nations Biosphere Reserves, the area is rich in animal as well as plant life.

Dawley Passage Provincial Park
Flanked by Meares Island and the west coast of Vancouver Island, this provincial park lies in the Fortune Channel and is accessible by boat only. Visitors to Dawley Passage Provincial Park where you can enjoy great canoeing, kayaking and boating experiences. The Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations heritage sites may also be viewed. The park is surrounded by diverse marine life, making it an excellent spot for scuba diving. Year round wilderness camping is permitted. Located near Tofino and Ucluelet.

Gibson Provincial Marine Park
The Gibson Provincial Marine Park is situated on the south side of Flores Island, and can be accessed by boat only from Tofino. While on the island, hike the Ahousat Wild Side Heritage Trail, a scenic 32-km round trip. Many Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations heritage sites can be viewed. Walk in backcountry camping is permitted. Located on Flores Island just north of Tofino.

Long Beach
Long Beach is one of the most popular regions of the Pacific Rim National Park. Long Beach features an area of rare breath-taking beauty where the sandy beaches welcome droves of picnickers, beachcombers and strollers each year. This is a perfect area to watch the Pacific Gray Whales travel during spring and fall. Located between Tofino and Ucelet.

Maquinna Provincial Marine Park
The Maquinna Provincial Marine Park is comprised of 1,269 hectares of upland and 1,398 hectares of shore area. The highlight of this marine park is Hot Springs Cove, where hot mineral water falls into several pools, becoming cooler as it descends. Visitors love to soak in the waters. Pacific Rim National Park
The magnificent west coast of Vancouver Island between the Pacific Coast Mountains and the ocean is now a wonderful national park. The park is comprised of three parts, Long Beach, the West Coast Trail and the Broken Group of Islands. The long and wide sand beaches are spectacular as is the-old growth temperate rain forest. Red Mountain Ski Resort
The Red Mountain Ski resort is found on Red Mountain and Granite Mountain in south central British Columbia. It is renowned for its bountiful powder and varied terrain, a paradise for skiers and boarders alike. Choose from over 83 runs on two mountains that will take you down treed slopes, wide-open groomers, or steep, powder-filled bowls. With over 1200 acres, and 2900 vertical feet, there is lots of area to explore. Red Mountain is host to downhill skiing and snowboarding in some awesome terrain, including a half pipe built on the mountain every winter. Teck Cominco Interpretive Centre

You will find fame, videos and interactive displays here that highlight the Teck Cominco Interpretive Centre, a mini science centre.

Tofino Botanical Gardens

Trail Museum
Displays at the Museum include the history of Local 480 of the Union of Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers and the role of Ginger Goodwin in early efforts to create a union at the Trail smelter; a showcase of artifacts from local early businesses that helped to shape a growing Trail; and a municipal display containing artifacts from the City's earliest days. Whale Centre Maritime Museum
The Museum features a display of artifacts collected and donated by Tofino locals over the past twenty five years. The museum is free to the public. Come in and check out our complete 40’ gray whale skeleton. The kids love it We also have an assortment of traditional native jewelry , cedar baskets, paddles, sea life (sponges, shells, baleen.) and local artifacts from traditional whaling equipment to original navigation charts of the area.
