The City of Chilliwack, British Columbia is a community of approximately 70,000 people and is located 100 kilometres east of the City of Vancouver. The Township of Chilliwhack (later changed to the current spelling) was incorporated in 1873, and is the third oldest municipality in British Columbia. Chilliwack is a community that is rich in arts, culture and history, and alive with activities. The town hosts many festivals throughout the year.

Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park
This is the sixth highest falls in Canada and drops 122 metres down from the side of almost 7,000 foot Mount Cheam flowing into Bridal Creek. The creek leads to the Cheam Lake Regional Park. The Bridal Falls Park is located at the site of the ancient aboriginal village of Popkum which dates back to the 1700s. Take the trail from the parking lot to the base of the falls. This is an easy twenty minute walk. The scenic day use area at the foot of the Falls includes picnic area with tables, cold water taps and pit and flush toilets.

Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park
The Cheam Wetlands offers a variety of activities such as wildlife viewing, bird watching, picnicking, walking and hiking. This Regional Park is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, including over 159 different species of birds. Chilliwack Lake
This beautiful lake is set in the Cascade Mountains. You will find a number of trails within the vicinity of the park: "Post Creek to Greendrop Lake" a 10.4km, 6 hour (return) moderate hike. "Post Creek to Flora Lake" a 14km, 11 hour (return) moderate hike. "Chilliwack River Foot Bridge to Radium Lake" a 12km, 6 hour (return) moderate hike. "Chilliwack River Ecological Reserve Trail" a 5.4km, 3 hour (return) easy hike. Located about 50 miles from Chilliwack.

Chilliwack Museum & Archives
The Chilliwack Museum and Archives collect objects and records related to the history of the Chilliwack area. The Archives collection contains photographs (over 20,000) and maps, oral histories, and numerous records. Chilliwack River Rafting

Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park
The abandoned Kettle Valley Rail Line and the Othello Tunnels form the core of this recreation area. The line was completed in 1916 and is an easy stroll from the parking lot, through the tunnels and back (approximately 3 kms). In addition to the tunnels and the Coquihalla Canyon, you will find a variety of flowers, trees and shrubs to be enjoyed. Cultus Lake
Offering something for everyone in the family: camping in both government and private sites, swimming, boating, wind surfing, water skiing, waterside, horse-back riding, hiking, go-carts, mini-cars, mini-golf and golf. Also featuring the new and improved Cultus Lake Water Park near the entrance of the park. Lots of kiddies fountains, wading pools as well as a giant turtle and frog, and slides or soak in their relaxing whirlpools are on site. Picnic and volleyball areas are also available and we are just minutes from the freeway close to Chilliwack.

Cultus Lake Provincial Park
The Cultus Lake Park is managed under a unique provincial statute - the Cultus Lake Park Act (1932). The act gives the City conditional tenure over the 640-acre park, but prohibits the City from selling property. Residents lease their land for a length of 21 years whether they live there seasonally or year-round; businesses lease their properties for a five-year term. Family camping is offered and the Parks is home to Sunnyside and Vedder River Campgrounds. Tenting and full hookup facilities are available. Cultus Lake Waterpark
The Waterpark was built in the late 1980's, and is owned and operated by a local family. The Water Park is continuously upgraded and improved to create an even more exciting experience every time a guest returns. Greenhill Acres
This unique farm is tucked in the hills of Chilliwack overlooking Cultus Lake. Some of the only purebred Brahma cattle in B.C. can be seen here. Also featured is a great selection of honey, jams, jellies, home style preserves and pickles. Greenhill supports a variety of animals for a wide variety of purposes and they also harvest their own herbs, do blacksmithing and even keep bees. Farm tours and seasonal events are offered. Trans Canada Water Slides
